About a year ago, I made a post about how Nine out Thirteen employees all quit the East Idaho Aquarium due to the director using non-profit funds for himself, abusing the animals, and for overpaying the employee he was having an affair with. After bringing these items to the board, the IRS, and the state, we were hopeful that something would happen.
a little over twelve months later, the aquarium still is struggling with staffing, but the director has now added a tesla, a truck, and state of the art security system “for the animals.” The employees that stayed have all been promoted and given raises, and animal conditions have gotten worse.
It feels awful to know that as a labor force, we all took a stand, and nothing happened. They even went up .1 of a star on Google the past year, and the director has started to respond to all the negative reviews, calling them fake. The board says that the current director has brought too much success for any action to be taken. feels bad, man.
so it turns out all we can do is leave negative reviews .
