Company founder retired (20+ years leading the company) and a replacement for hired by the Board 7 months ago. This person disappears days on end with no justification, does not answer time-sensitive emails, bullied and yelled at staff on many occasions (even in front of others), has us failing on our deliverables and important filings where the sustainability of the company is on the line and people are starting to quit…the Board has been notified a month ago, but they are slow to act on any of this. What is going on here?
Context: this is a huge carreer advancement for the new CEO; if this was a merger or business shut down situation the Board would have approved it – this is not the case.
