I got a job at some little pizza/sandwich/junk food place to take a break from welding. It's an easy paycheck .
The manager there is nice enough, but he always has to make a comment on something and be in control of everything. For example: I was deep frying an order of shrimp. As soon as I pull them up he says “We typically only fry them for 3 minutes, that looks a little more done than 3 minutes.”
motherfucker it was in the oil for exactly 3 minutes on the god damn dot, stop talking out of your ass to make me feel like I've made the mistake. I've made more deep fried food in my life than I care to think about. Plus, if it temps lower than 165, I'm gonna have to cook it longer regardless.
Another time, he asks me to load all the fresh made dough into the walk-in. So I do as he asks. A few minutes later he's telling me I need to be more aware of customers coming in to the front counter since the other cook in there was busy making some catering order.
I can only be in one place at once, what the fuck do you want from me dude? If you tell me to something I'm going to do it, someone else can ring up orders for a whole fuckin 10 minutes.
It's not a big deal really but it's fucking annoying. Anyone else experience this kinda thing?
