I work in a fast food donut/coffee shop from Canada. Like everyone we are underpaid and overworked. Our manager recently quit and I’ve been shoved into that position even though I’ve told them no a few times. Every single employee is currently looking for a new job or has already put their two weeks in. We are tired of the disrespect and high demands.
So I convinced the entire staff to call in tomorrow. I didn’t think it would work but I’m excited and nervous about it. I don’t want them to lose their jobs because they have bills to pay but they can’t fire everyone right? I already agreed to take the heat so hopefully I’m the only one to get fired (I have a new job lined up and I work a second job too). But I’m worried now that they might fire other people too! Hopefully it all goes okay. Wish us luck!
