I work in a large insurance private corporate health insurance company call center. We get an email that many of our employees did not get their Direct Deposit checks today for 2 weeks of hours. Every phone rep was talking about it this morning.
Then we get an email that we're getting free pizza for lunch on the company's behalf. No notice on who is effected or how they'll correct it. Many of my friend's accounts were overdrafted because of rent checks being cashed.
One of my colleagues said if they don't pay by Monday morning they'll refuse to work. I am lucky that I wasn't effected, but I'll join in in solidarity.
