Corporatism is the problem…

Many like to blame many of the current problems in the workforce on a lot of factors, but the primary driver of shitty jobs, shitty pay, shitty products, and heartless bosses, is Corporatism. The corporate model is one where the company board is beholden to investors. The investors only care about maximum profits, they dont give a rats ass about people(its not their job to), they bought stock and they want to see their investment grow. And the company board has no other job than to figure out ways to make that happen. Unfortunately maximizing profits means simultaneously screwing over the employee and the customer at the same time. Employees get screwed by being over worked, under paid, and under valued. Customer gets screwed by being charged too much for a shitty product where all corners that could be cut, have been and the product is often designed to fail…

Customer gets screwed by being charged too much for a shitty product where all corners that could be cut, have been and the product is often designed to fail so the customer is forced to buy again sooner rather than later.

Unfortunately, the non-corporate businesses cant compete. They arent screwing their customers, they dont want to screw their employees. And they have a MUCH smaller profit margin to work with meaning they have to charge higher prices and/or pay less wages. They cant pay enough to keep people around and people dont want to buy their products because they can go to a competing corporate business and get the same product for less than half the cost. Corporatism is the cause of large monopolies that screw everyone except for a few. People keep trying to blame capatalism, no. It's corporatism. Capatilism is a system that gives anyone a chance to get ahead. Its the ladder to ascend to a higher class. It demands you work for it, but its a fair shot. Corporatism is the man behind the curtain thats screwing everyone. To make matters much worse, corporations have the money and power to lobby for political policies that benefit them and screw over the people. This is why things like obvious monopolies are overlooked when they're supposed to be illegal. They own our mainstream news & media, they can push and influence any idea they want. The entire world is quietly governed by corporations, there is only the illusion of elections and free choice.

If people want to make a difference they should really start advocating for policy makers to clamp down on corporate business practices in order to protect the employee, the customer, and small business. They should advocate for policy makers to clamp down on our news/media to create free and real journalism again, and outlaw propaganda. They should stop voting for candidates have been in office for 50 years and have made no difference. They should stop jumping on whatever boat the media is selling them. And they should start thinking for themselves. When enough people wake up, take notice, and take action, the illusion wont be able to continue.
