Anybody have any issues with coworkers who straight up neglect their basic duties leaving you with the brunt of the work?
I work in utilities that provides 24/7 coverage of a major brewery. We deal with high pressure steam, ammonia refrigeration, hot and cold water distribution etc.
The bare minimum of our job as a 4 man team is to write daily logs in a book and on the computer. Things like temperature readings, pressure checks, trouble calls. It requires you to basically show up and walk around, very simple.
There is a 40-something year old man, who DAILY ignores these simple tasks, which is down right gross neglect when it comes to OSHA PSM Operating Procedure OPS-010. Ammonia refrigeration equipment has to be checked twice per shift for variations in pressure.
I understand work sucks and we are here on off shifts 7 days straight but looking at pressure gauges is the easiest thing you can do, even easier is logging them in the book!
Got any coworkers who are just checked out entirely?
