If you finsh your work why does it matter when you leave . So I work in a office where I am hourly. And I leave an hour for lunches. And leave early sometimes. All my coworkers are salaried. I work in the accounting department. And all my variest coworkers work in different departments. Everyone keeps commenting on how I'm gone all the time. But it's like I am entitled to an hour lunch and two 15s. And if I leave early no one is going to suffer I'm actually helping the company. My desk job is honestly only 2-3 hours of work a day then I have nothing to do. I live down the street and my coworkers know I go home during lunch. They make twice as much as I do.
Do you think I'm wrong? I don't understand if my work is done and I'm not costing the company money why does it matter what I do?
