My coworker tried to get my position now she is lying continuously, pretending to do things to “help” me, but she is lying because when I check with others they say they never got the email or the person said they never spoke with her. Last year when I was trying to get the job she wrote how I was too nice for the job, and that the only reason why my last department head would want me to be department head is to help me financially. I mean I am nice , and I’m not poor. I like thrifting and wearing confortable shoes because I walk at lunch.I I don’t lie to people, and I want to do a good job, but now I’m the leader in my department people are turning on me. NowThe other ladies are doing things as well. They are meeting behind my back,we decide to meet then, they don’t show up which makes me late for a different meeting. They try to get me to agree to rules that we all know are illegal, it’s annoying. I want to do a good job and help my department, but I am now paranoid to work and it’s sucking the life out of me. Help .
