this is a listing i came across while job hunting. in order to qualify you need to rent or own a building to be able to set up a postal office…is that normal ?? they're only willing to provide about 2.6k yearly to “help cover the cost” of maintaining the building.
the lucky job recipient is expected to pay rent/mortgage, heat , electricity , water , wifi & phone…plus make sure the building is accessible.
i always figured they provided the building , canada post is literally owned by the government btw
mostly need to know if i'm crazy for thinking this is ridiculous
