I tried to do the right thing and give my boss a 2 weeks notice and later in the week he gets cocky and goes “actually I don’t need you that last week so just work this extra event on a day you’d normally have off and it’ll be your last day” then the new guy never showed up
So he’s like “tell me you wanna work to the original day you said, I don’t need you but if you need the money go get that money..still work the event” giving me no off days for my last week “you’re gonna walk out of here raving about how much of a good boss I am” and I go sure thing I’ll do that
Little does he know, it ain’t happenin Chappy. I leave the restaurant industry forever this Sunday and now I’m not working that event because you pissed me off.
