Dealing with Exclusion

This is a fast food job. Nothing special, it pays the bill. However, as with most jobs like this, there are cliques and favoritism. I’m not there to make friends, I’m there to work. It’s just miserable to come in to a job where ABSOLUTELY no one says hi to me, asks about my weekend/evening/etc. Whatever, I got used to being ignored and just did my job. Today, though… today really just my feelings. They handed out Valentine’s with individually boxed cakes to everyone… except for me. They looked me in the eye and just shrugged. THAT hurt. I just told my manager I threw up and walked out. I’m dreading going in tomorrow because I know they will have a sit down (my fifth one, ya know). I’ve applied for many jobs, I am in college, just kind of sucks having to work where I’m obviously not wanted. How…
