I was eating out yesterday and decided to ask the waitress if her manager or the restaurant takes anything from her tips. She responded “No but my previous job would take and disperse the money between the others, it was so annoying when you'd be running your but off and see another waitress standing around doing nothing and you'd know she'd get some of that tip too.” I told her that if she would've said yes I would've just slipped her the money then. This restaurant was extremely busy and I could tell it was a very stressful day, even saw another waitress crying. I am going to do this at every restaurant from now on.
