What’s up y’all so I found out I was being used and underpaid.so decided to ask for a big raise nothing unreasonable definitely with in market value. I had a ton of “perks” I would say I used to benefit the company to help make me efficient.
I told my employer
“You know what I bring to the table at this point, I need XY Amount now “ my employer said “ I wasn’t worth that much YET will give me 3$ more in 3 months if I do a good job”
I said Yesssir say no more
Obviously I was pissed off
So I cut my labor in half ,slowed down a lot and dropped supervisor responsibilities i had I also bring all my own stuff and am trying to decide if I should just stop bringing my personal stuff as well
Am I being an asshole? I started looking for other work as well and don’t plan to leave a notice when I do find one
