So, I really need to see a dentist. I have an old crown that has come loose and I need help.
I made an appointment, gave the dentist my insurance information. Their scheduler called me back to let me know that my coverage was terminated as of 10/31/23.
I’ve received zero notice of this.
I still have my job; I’m sitting in the office right now.
My last check on 10/27/23 was deducted for this coverage.
I work for a huge multibillion dollar bank; this isn’t a matter of the business being able to afford benefits.
I reached out to my HR contact, zero response.
I then had to “open an HR case” and someone will respond in 2 days.
I hate this. I’m in agony. I did literally nothing to deserve this. The insurance company tells me to talk to HR (which I understand) and HR is silent.
But I’m still expected to work. Cool.
