Design job-related are just useless

I got a BA in graphic design and I started in printing, then digital stuff replaced it and learnt digital. I started web design then Wordpress arrived and I learnt UI. User interface was a relatively new thing and nobody cared so I learnt illustration. The job paid well for three years then Covid arrived and I got less gigs struggling for paying the rent. I expanded my knowledge of UX design, I learnt wire framing, how to survey, and so forth. Pandemic was finally over but then AI arrived and both illustration, and UX are fading away. Most crappy industry ever, we are more replaceable than light bulbs! Nobody actually cares about us, cheaper is better, this is how useless we are.
