I hate my job so much now, that I'm actually thinking of taking on a job washing dishes..yes it would be a paycut, but I do have years of experience doing that sort of job and some restaurants in my area are now paying $18-20 an hour for dishwashers! It's really just so I can get away from my miserable job that is destroying me physically and mentally. I'm 44 and don't want to lift heavy shit all day while doing the work of 3 people. At least in a dish pit, I come in, do my job, close up and go home..in the meantime while I'm there I can also look for another job..I just can't take my current job anymore. We haven't hired anyone in over a year. Where there used to be 10 people when I got here 5 yrs ago, there are only 4 of us now.
