So my boss is delulu in his ambitions, got rid of 75% of the team for no reason but kept me and expects me to do all their work in the interim as well as move mountains in other areas, but said it will just be a title change as it’s an internal role. It’s far lower than industry average, I will have a direct report and have to recruit whilst man the ship and push major projects forward. Any advice? He’s blindsided the entire team so far. I don’t need any more “exposure” in my career and don’t want to settle.
