So 2 Thursdays ago, I interviewed for a position (it was my 3/4 round). At the end, the lady asked if I included my references in my application and I said no, but that I could email it to her. She copies and pastes her email address on the zoom chat. I thought I had copied it and then closed out the zoom window after we had finished talking. When I pasted her email address, of course it turns out I never copied her email address. I end up verifying her email from the administrative assistant and she said that I had the right email address and even said “you are such a great candidate!” I was already excited since they had asked for my references and now the administrative assistant gave me positive affirmation. A week goes by, I hear nothing back (they said they’d get back in a week or so). I email the assistant for an update last Thursday, nothing. I emailed the lady that had interviewed me 3 days ago, and still nothing. I’m so confused?! Did I just get ghosted?
