A friend recently started at Amazon and they are disabled, their Amazon case worker was supposed to get their accommodations set up so they could start work, but their start date(theyve already done orientation and have been shown around the facility) just keeps getting moved back week after week. They wont fire my friend, because thats obviously illegal, so theyre keeping them in this limbo where the case worker is continually failing to do their job.
Is there any action my friend can take? Or does Amazon have them in an effective bullshit strategy to successfully avoid having to pay a disabled worker?
