I've been working at my job for 8 months now. When I applied for the position I was open about my disability on the application. The first time I ever did that. I was hired for my position as supervisor regardless. Originally I was thrilled and happy.
2 months in I still hadn't been trained on or taken on an supervisory duties. I tried setting up multiple meetings, follow-ups, emails requesting additional training, a list of duties, and asked if we could set expectations for the position. Nothing happened so I eventually stopped asking.
Management here is very toxic and we have a very difficult time keeping staff. Most people quit without notice, we lost 2 employees is less than 2 weeks a total of 5 employees in the 8 months I've been here.
The stress of being understaffed was getting to me so I applied for ADA to help manage my condition.
Since applying for ADA I am suddenly getting micromanaged, being put on the busiest shifts with no coverage, they reinstated metric tracking but because of my shift change I'm essentially solely responsible for meeting all metrics, I recently reported a coworker for some unprofessional comments they made via teams group chat and my manager deleted them (I took screenshots just in case) and this coworker is a close friend of my manager, the immediate following day I get 2 simultaneous write ups and get pulled into a private meeting about my lack of performance, saying I wasn't fit for the position, that all our turn over is because those previous employees said I was the direct cause of their leaving.
I reported this to HR, fully knowing HR is not my friend but to ensure theirs a paper trail.
If they fire me does it sound like I have a chance to win a lawsuit?
