Discrepancies in Offered Salary

Hi everyone, I applied for a full-time translator position in a specific language, of which I am a native speaker. I underwent three rounds of interviews, which included an assignment for which I received approval. In my third interview, they provided a salary estimate and mentioned that the final round would be in person at the office to discuss details with the project manager. Hi everyone,

I applied for a full-time translator position in a specific language, of which I am a native speaker. I underwent three rounds of interviews, which included an assignment for which I received approval. In my third interview, they provided a salary estimate and mentioned that the final round would be in person at the office to discuss details with the project manager. I agreed to all the terms, and we scheduled the meeting for one week later (this Friday).

On the very day of our last contact, they reposted the same job position I applied for, offering a 30% higher salary than the one they offered me. There is only one vacancy for this position, and I can't help but feel that they are treating me as a “plan B” because they may be struggling to find another suitable candidate. This suspicion arises from the fact that, despite their urgency, they scheduled my interview for one week later and then reposted the same job position with a higher salary than they initially offered me.

Am I wrong to feel disrespected, and are these red flags justified?
