I worked for this company for about six months. It’s been having a very strange vibe for a little while now but they do some kind of shady shit so it’s hard to understand where the vibes are coming from. Anyways, I got into work last night and was let go when I asked why they said it’s just not working out. We don’t have to tell you it’s at will state.
So they got robbed about two weeks ago. Nothing about the robbery makes any sense and all of us have been having theories about who was involved because it looks like an inside job. from what we were told they were five people involved. They stole car from Aurora drove here 4 men all in black broke in and were out in under two minutes. however the things that they stole do not make sense for that robbery. why would you risk essentially your life going to jail to steal the things that they stole so everyone at work was putting out theories of like customers that they think we’re involved and I said this looks like an inside job like it doesn’t make sense. It looks like the owners ran out of money and they were like oh I’m just gonna rob our store so I can get some insurance money because all of the things that were stolen were the cheapest things, and it doesn’t make any sense.
I was telling my dad about this when discussing getting fired and not understanding why like just being very very confused because I work very hard and I have a really good rapport with all of our customers. I’ve had a lot of really positive reviews about me. I’m on our website or like on our Google reviews and I’ve never been told that I was doing anything incorrectly or wrong so like I am completely Flabbergasted as to how or why I was fired. my dad said that I was fired because I’m getting too close to the truth and that me saying it was an inside job must’ve gone back to one of the many owners and it was hit a little bit too close to home. I’m just looking to see if anyone has any thoughts on that? Do you think I was fired because of an offhanded comment was a little too close to the truth?
And if that’s the case like what do I do because I’m pissed off that I got fired I work really hard and I do a lot of work for that company for that dispensary.
