I was unemployed for a while a few months ago due to another job terminating my employment. (They honestly did me a favor with those conditions.)
Most of the places I applied to wanted nothing to do with me, given my unemployed status…
Now that I have a new job paying me pretty well, I'm suddenly getting call backs from all of the other places that rejected me before… like… Too late guys. What even is your deal? I've gotten call backs from 3 different places now, wanting full on in person interviews instead of just over the phone nonsense.
