I've been job hunting recently due to, basically, having my entire team neglected into disrepair by the company so that everyone would quit voluntarily.
I don't know if it's just because of my specific specialty or not, but every single company I see hiring these days exclusively produces software or offers service to other companies. It's like our entire economy is fake, and the only value we are creating is ways for other companies to make their shit to sell back to us so we can more efficiently sell them shit in return.
It's almost, suspiciously, like we could easily produce more than enough of everything that humans actually need and that most of the population could just live on a universal income, but instead we invent more and more ways to pump our time into businesses that don't actually do anything.
What's that, your company offers a revolutionary new B2B SaaS app that tracks staff travel gas expense prices? Oh, you're the number one sales territory tracking platform? Neat, we can make you a plugin for your CMS that let's you translate leads into a meeting calendar with just a single click. I'm sure that will save you lots of time to focus on optimizing the efficiency of your screen printing business that exclusively sells to corporations that need swag to gift to their employees.
All fake useless garbage, and it's all interdependent on one another.
