Do people not want to have lives outside of work?

I work in a small (20-30) person business, as a salary employee I’m expected to “stay until the job is finished” everyday and this is shown most through my manager who works at times 60+ hour weeks. I have no problem leaving on time. I’m mad when I leave 15 minutes late but some people at the job work wayyy too much, with no tracking of OT! Do people not have responsibilities or hobbies or family outside of work? The best part about my day after work is when I go and see my girlfriend, that’s it. Meanwhile my boss asks why I don’t go to after work social gatherings or don’t want to be involved with the work culture, I’d much rather be involved with my family and the family I’d like to create one day! It makes me feel like the crazy one… I’m only in my 20s…

I’m only in my 20s and feel like everyone knows nothing outside of work in their lives, I thought I was the one who was supposed to be learning about what life’s possibilities can be lol. I just don’t get people
