Before knowing enough about capitalism and the economy I'd watch “Do this before 30 and be a millionaire by 62” vids a lot, focusing on which retirement plan and index funds and stocks and blah blah.
Today, I don't think it'll matter much. I still save money, i have an emergency fund and I don't YOLO my money but I don't worry too much about retirement because I don't think it's possible anyway. Pensions are gone, cost of living has skyrocketed and if you think about it, our capitalist system doesn't want people to stop working so it will make it impossible.
