I know most places have a break room at work. But mine is horrible not a place to even enjoy a meal or break in peace. One lady that never shuts the hell up about politics or current events and then will try to drag you into it as well. Multiple people have told her to shut the fuck up regardless of where you stand on politics.
Then we have multiple repeat offenders that will ask you something regarding work or something your working on. This is where I lost it last week. I was sitting in the corner alone facing the wall just reading my book. One coworker who reminds me of being a high school cheerleader on varsity blues who is in her 30s keep saying my name. Finally on the 4 time I said I hear you but I’m clock out so leave me the fuck alone. She reported me to my manager and since I’m clocked out she’s not going to do anything to me.
When I’m clocked in I’m paid to be polite, professional, and nice to people I don’t care for when I’m off I ignore them don’t even say hi or bye in passing. No longer spend anytime in the break room at work. Anybody have the same experience ?
