Would sending a general thank you email to everybody in the workplace be disparaging? This is her email:
For some context, my sister has been in her workplace for 10 months now, and the new manager (who was hired just last month) gave her the letter of termination today out of the blue. She made up a random excuse to fire her and after my sister cried while heading home, this same manager sent a different job related to her field, saying that she (the manager) will vouch for my sister, and that she will give her a glowing recommendation. My sister said ever since this new manager got hired last month, this same manager fired 5 other staff that was there before her. Manager also said that the owner of the place does not know about the firing at the moment.

To Dr. ______ and the ______ Team,
I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks for the unforgettable experience of working at ________. My experience with this team has been nothing short of phenomenal, and I have nothing but high regards to the doctors, _______, my fellow ________, and the front desk staff. However, the rollercoaster of challenges, abrupt changes, and the occasional curveball certainly kept things interesting.
Your decision to terminate my employment, while surprising, has given me the chance to break free from this environment. It’s clear to me now that my skills and perspectives are better suited elsewhere. The reasons given to me for my termination seemed very shallow, but at the end of the day, I have to understand that this was never my decision, and it doesn’t have to be fair to me.
I will always cherish the memories of my time at ________, and I’m sure the lessons I’ve learned will serve me well in the future. Again, I would like to thank you for everything. It has been an eye-opening experience, to say the least.
Best,
_________
