I see a lot of people post about getting fired after giving a 2 weeks notice or others making the last 2 weeks miserable.
Don't give your 2 weeks notice unless you are fine with that job being fully terminated. When I was younger, I would give a 2 weeks notice needing those 2 weeks of employment. I was let go both times. One of those times was leading into Christmas. People suck and you don't owe them anything outside your agreed contract to perform work for payment.
The only good experience I had is when I was doing the company a favor by staying on and trying my replacement for my last 3 weeks after giving notice. My other job was flexible to wait and it was fun teaching someone else to do what I had been doing. But I didn't need to stay.
