DoorDash already made the disgusting move of hiding tips, wonder when Uber will follow suit with the same vileness

I have a close friend that Dashes as a side gig, dude was telling us how they hide tips from the drivers. Meaning if a delivery for a bunch of food like catering comes in, you’re taking a gamble on how much of a tip, if any, you’d be getting for such a huge order. The fees on these apps have damn near tripled in recent times and according to (idk if we can mention other forums so I’ll censor) [are][slash]doordash, the drivers seen none of that going towards them.

I’m all for not supporting these sick apps, but it’s like a double edged sword, doing so might hurt a lot of gig workers using these apps to make money, so it’s like I’m torn in the middle here of whether to even continue using them or not.
