I hate how the job search connects me to people who are the most insincere, shitty, superficial, dumbest, and overall horrible people.
People over-promise or don't mean what they say. They are never direct and they get your hopes up only to really disappoint.
The worst are recruiters. They are the most idiotic people on this Earth. One idiot messaged me about a cybersecurity position that he had while I was in the hospital. He messaged me through LinkedIn and did not bother to call or email. When i got out the guy was like “Hey, you've got to respond better to communications.” Moron. Months later I got an internship and while people on LinkedIn were congratulating me the same guy left a comment like, “Oh hey, we're really trying to hire for police station…” Like I'm supposed to be on call for these piles of shit.
The employers suck too. Fuck them. They'll reach out with a message with the subject of “Job Offer” and then go with someone else after you have taken the time to meet them. They won't tell you or anything.
Oh, and fuck Square Enix Santa Monica. They were rude and shitty to even interact with treating us like cattle. They probably only hired the small amount of hot girls that applied there.
Sorry for ranting. I'm glad this community exists.
