I was hired via an agency and recently someone else lost their job because the school I work for claimed they could no longer afford people from agencies. They told them that they should of applied for a permanent position earlier in the year but didn't specify that when the positions where open.
My contract goes until the end of the school year, but I don't trust these people and the fact that they ruthlessly fired that person like that tells me I need to get everything in order and think about what I'll say tomorrow at the meeting with the head of the school. I'm thinking about mentioning the contract that the agency and the head agreed to which said I'd be staying on until the end of July, but I'm not sure what else to mention? It all just came very suddenly and I'm not just worried for myself but for the children in my care who the school have admitted won't get the extra support they'll need if I'm fired.
