Hello everyone, I'm having an issue with my husband's employer. He recently found a new job and has put in his notice, so I think that might have something to do with this.
The owner has come to him and stated that he has not paid for his insurance week to week and is requesting that be back paid. He has not used the insurance in the 11 weeks that he's had it, and I'm currently waiting to receive his paystubs in my email (we're both at work rn) to go over them myself and see what's what. Im almost certain he has been paying into it, but what can I do to follow up if he hasn't?
I should also note we are legally married, however he is an illegal immigrant on DACA. We also cannot afford a lawyer, however my mother has taken our state's attorney general to court twice and won both times so any advice will be put to good use!
