In our employee handbook it states we can clock in 5 minutes before or after the start time of our shift. It also states clock in after 5 minutes would be considered tardy. They are threatening to terminate me for clocking in before the 5 minute point. So for example i clock in at 8:03 instead of 8:05.Funny thing is im still there 10-15 minutes before my manager and also stay later then him. If they do go through with termination would u have any ammo for a lawsuit. I will probably talk to attorney but wondering if it is a waste of time.
