This the only work community I know so sorry if this is the wrong subreddit. I asked HR about the process of short term disability leave because I’m having a surgery on my stomach (sleeve) in the next month or 2. I don’t have a surgery date yet. But she started the process of FMLA and gave me til march 16th to fill it out?? Is there anyway I can cancel this? All my pre surgery procedures end march 13th (more can be added like dietician and counseling) and insurance hasn’t even approved the surgery since they will contact insurance after all pre surgery procedures are done.
