As the title says
My current employer is withholding a paycheck from me because they haven't received my timesheets in the mail that I sent via USPS. I spoke with three different USPS locations, and they all gave me conflicting information on the whereabouts of my sent mail. I asked the clerk how this is possible, and he said that it isn't and that they always deliver their mail, and no mail is lost. Then he goes on to say that it is rare, but they do lose mail sometimes and my sent mail (timesheets) could have been lost in transit.
Basically,
gone on a wild goose chase trying to figure out where my sent mail is at so I can get paid and now it seems like my sent timesheets are lost and my employer won't pay me for a weeks' worth of labor because they didn't get something that is out of my control.
