So I started a new job a few weeks ago traveling and doing telecom work. The company I started with begged me to come to work for them because they needed the help. They had me come to work the first week, but after that they told me they were having a problem on the site, and we would have to hold back another week. It’s been a month now and every week their excuses change. I’m broke as a joke and having to pinch for Pennie’s. I need to at the very least draw unemployment until I can go back to work but I’m not sure if they’ll let me considering I haven’t technically been laid off or fired. I think is what got them was, my 2 buddies and I started with them all together, and they were going to have one of my buddies work somewhere else that first week we were off. He told them “I’m not leaving without my guys” so they’re punishing all of us for it.
