Stuff either requires tons of prior knowledge and certs or pays less than fast food to get into something. What the hell happened. What happened to getting paid to learn a skill or trade. I used to do plumbing and no one applies why would they starting pay is 14 an hr factories pay 20. It used to be later in life you could switch careers but I can't imagine being in my 30s with a kid and mortage trying to swap fields and making 14 an hr. America is slowly pushing everyone to factory and assembly line for low pay but a little better than everything else. Entry level positions are either payed so low no one can do them or not paid at all.
