I received a 0% raise after 16 months with the firm, no possibility of a raise until 27 months, but my boss justified it by saying the company had a horrible year and lots of people got pay cuts. Wasn’t pleased but would get over it, come to find out none of the pay cuts were on my team and I’ve suddenly been made the lowest level employee in the department AND the only one to not get a raise. Somehow this detail wasn’t worth mentioning, clearly has no bearing on my role!
There are lots of excuses they could use and I know I can’t really say anything until I have a new job, but GOD am I frustrated. He doesn’t know I know yet, would love to send a quick “hey, what the actual fuck?” text but I need health insurance
