Is it just me being irritable, or does everyone seem to be collectively losing our minds?!
I recently started a job scheduling activities for a school district and somehow I have to explain how everyone needs to do their job. I don't mean I mansplain cause I think they're dumb. I mean people who have been working in their same position for 10-30 YEARS are asking me basic fucking questions. Stuff that reasonably should be dealt with every year.
This past weekend a high school team needed to get into one of the elementary school gyms for a practice but the activities director just sent me an email asking why they couldn't get into the building until the SCHEDULED START TIME FOR THEIR PRACTICE!
It's like the pandemic just switched everyone's brains off. I feel it with myself too. A collective dumbing down of everyone all at the same time. Drivers on the road are being crazy, speeding through the first 3-4 seconds of a red light, and I've barely seen cops pulling anyone over. ACAB. The news and politicians are twisting us to cheer for genocide in the Middle East. And nobody can think for themselves anymore.
Am I the only one to notice how batshit crazy reality has become just in like the last year?? Like nobody knows how to critical think at all, like they want others to tell them how to do everything.
I feel like I'm going insane. Rant over.
