Worked for a company in Wisconsin that installs custom kitchens and closets. The pay was commission. I would get paid 1/2 at the sale and then paid the remain 2nd half once installed.
When I gave them my notice of leaving the company, I was told that I will only be paid on the contracts while I am still employed. Meaning that any installs that are done after I leave, I would not get paid for the remaining amount. This is thousands of dollars left unpaid.
I have to the employment contract to see what the terms were but this seems wrong.
