Excited to get back to work

In two weeks I will be back at the workplace that decided to respond to me asking for a reduction of working hours due to depression by putting me under more stress and a five week “trial period” that sounds like a PIP but is not legally one. I will be back to finish the last three weeks of the trial period after I ended up on sick leave last day of the second week. After finishing the three weeks I don't know what will happen, but I know it no longer matters. I have 1 month notice before they can end my employment written in my contract. I will be back to finish the last three weeks of the trial period after I ended up on sick leave last day of the second week. After finishing the three weeks I don't know what will happen, but I know it no longer matters. I have 1 month notice before they can end my employment written in my contract. In 3 weeks and 1 month it will be December. I will officially have one year experience in the field.

The company doesn't care what happens to me. As HR said, we're only in an employment relationship. My personal problems is not their issue. They are correct. My depression is not their issue. But how they treat employees will be their issue. Employees talk, and ex-employees talk more.

I'm looking forward to getting back to work, and rereading all the employee handbooks and rules. I will follow them to the teeth. I will be the perfect employee per their own rules. Want me to do x? Sorry, not in my contract. Want me to do y? Where is it written? We are on an employment relationship, not in my contract, not my problem.

First I have my two week vacation. Then I have seven weeks to be their “perfect employee”. I'm actually really excited. Knowing you have nothing to lose is the most freeing feeling of them all.

And in December, when I am finally done, I will, while still following all the rules, tell my story so other people can see when googling their name. Glassdoor already has one bad review, looking forward to giving that one some backup.
