I'm leaving my current position for another with another company. My current position is miserable–the work itself is fine, but it's mismanaged all across the board. I'm going through the normal process (two weeks notice, updating the people who will be taking over for me on my day to day processes, etc; )
For people who have been in a similar position, how honest were you during the exit interview? I don't like to burn any bridges, but I feel like it's a disservice not to tell them the main reason I'm leaving is a lack of confidence in the management.
