This is something I've noticed a lot in interviews. You're expect to LOVE every single aspects of a job, and be literally up for everything.
Of course no one actually does and the single rule you can rely in during interviews is everyone is lying.
Most of the work I've done has been designing stuff. I got into a position at a job where I did paperwork 70% of the time. I was actively lied to about this position (not the first time and likely not the last).
When I talk to new possible employers about this position I mention the fact I did around 70% paperwork. People sort of lose their minds about it.
I specifically looking for a role that's more design focused. I even express I understand paperwork is part of every job, but I don't want it to be the main focus of my job. Nor do I want it to be disconnected isolated paperwork I'm not involved with but got shoved into doing it. I of course phrase this better, but the amount of weird eyes I've gotten from even mentioning I want to move away from doing primarily paperwork shocks me.
