Long story short, my job is packing up and moving to a new building over the weekend of the 13th and 14th and just expects everyone to give up their weekend to make it happen. The issue is that I have no desire to give up my weekend because I already do back breaking labor all week and need the weekend as time to recover. Is there any way I can tell my boss to fuck off, or am I screwed? I've spent some time on Google looking for an answer, but I keep seeing conflicting answers. I don't think I'd get fired for not showing up next weekend, but I also don't want to just blow this off without some means to cover my ass. Based in Nebraska and not a salaried employee, if that matters.
