Welp, it was bound to happen at some point I suppose. I was with this company for 9.75 years albeit very under paid even though I new the software in and out and always hit my metrics.
Said company has a horrible track record with layoffs though, starting when the original company sold a while ago to an investment fund or whatever… In my time there, there was 4 major layoffs – last one obviously got me. That averages a major layoff every 2.44 years. Is that normal? My assumption is no.
We also had leadership changes frequently. This particular CEO at least got on the Zoom call and informed us himself I guess then abruptly ended the meeting for everyone. Classic.
