I resigned from my job because my supervisor berated me in an email and tried to emotionally gaslight me for taking time off to attend my friend's memorial fundraiser. (Not the first time btw.)
I went to HR and the director basically said that I need to speak to my supervisor and work things out. But it is too late for that now. This has been going on consistently for months:
-they suddenly gave me a review the day after they changed the nature of my position. My other supervisor went over my job description with me to see what I do and what I don't do. My job description goes through the alphabet twice.

I asked for my job description and it was suddenly changed.

my supervisor constantly changed her mind and switched things I said around to make it seem like I am incompetent.

My supervisor consistently threw me under the bus.
I no longer feel safe to even do my job at work.
What threw me over the ledge with this job were two things:

my friend passed away and my supervisor tried to bully me for taking two days off.

I told my supervisor I was doing a half day to attend the service and she waited until after work hours to tell me I am doing a poor job. Mind you, she saw me all week.
Today, I had receipts of abusive emails from my supervisor and HR tried to deescalate the situation and prevent me from putting in my notice by saying how I am young and will regret leaving.
She told me to come back Wednesday but I emailed my notice to her.
I am not coming back.
