We have a fairly new executive that hasn’t had much success. He’s messed up schedules, bad in ordering in what we need, and has a violent attitude when things inevitably go wrong. He lost 3 cooks in the last month and was scrambling for weekend coverage. One of our longest employees works a set schedule and doesn’t work weekends, ever. Never has. This works for him. Chef told him he needed him Saturday and if he didn’t come in there’d be consequences. So my friend here, in reply says, “oh is that so? I won’t be here Saturday. I quit.” He happily just clocked out and left. 🤣 Now , it’s Saturday and chef is doing the line. Oh well!
