I’ve been temping there for 6 months and have had a 2 month streak being top representative at this customer service call center for shoes, pays $1 more than local fast food establishments (California).
I put in my 2 weeks notice after waiting 3 months longer than they said it would take to be hired on & they panicked and asked me for 3 past supervisors for references and a personality test. Got my references (they asked them to answer questions via email, which is a huge pain for my references!). Did the test at work between calls, and today HR scheduled a meeting. My supervisor and I were excited thinking this was a job offer discussion. Nope, I failed the personality test. Some hr lady I’ve never met before told me my result were “distorted and inconclusive” and she suggested I was distracted while taking the test. She asked me to retake it at home where I can focus.
I had a nice sit down with my supervisor and informed them I’m no longer interested in the opportunity. There were 4 temps and 5 permanents and 2 supervisors when I started, now there’s 0 temps 3 perms and 3 supervisors. Also, the perms are taking lots of pto in May with the summer coming, so there will be 2 reps on phones for 210 calls/day avg, just in time for me to leave! 🫡
